The Company
Amalgamated Batteries Manufacturing (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd was established in 1971 to primarily manufacture complete units of automotive batteries in various sizes ranging from 7-plate batteries to 33-plate batteries which care for a wide range of Malaysian, Japanese, Korean and European made vehicles, ranging from small passenger cars to buses and trucks. Its operations started from a humble workshop, but over the years it has grown from strength to strength culminating in the investment of more than RM30 million in a stylish and modern factory cum office block that was completed in early 2000. Now, the group has invested on another new factory for Design and Plastic Injection process for battery casing. The factory is under construction and scheduled to be completed soon.

Over the past 30 years, the Group has invested heavily in hi-tech and automatic plants and machineries to equip itself to manufacture products that are world-class standards consistently and competitive pricing yet ensuring that our natural environment is well protected. The company is therefore very well-equipped with adequate technology to manage its operations efficiency. This high-technology plant has significantly increased production of batteries to accommodate the increase of both the local and international market demands. 


Products
ABM manufactures a comprehensive range of quality automotive batteries, including conventional lead acid batteries and Sealed Maintenance-Free Batteries.

Deep Cycle Batteries are also being manufactured to cater for portable electrical appliances on boats or caravans, as well as commercial and recreational application vehicles. Other related products such as Valve Regulated Lead Acid Batteries for electrical vehicles are in the pipeline.

Our sales and customer service personnel ensure customer requirements and needs are met and communicate with customer regarding all related issues. Our sales and customer service personnel are well trained to provide speedy, courteous and comprehensive services to our valued customers and ensuring effective marketing and distribution channel.

ABM sees a very bright future ahead for its products.  The Group aims to continue its scope of productions with the continual improvement of qualities and competitiveness in order to offer its customers the best products for maximum satisfaction and reliability. We hoped that the higher production would be able to meet the increasing local needs as well as further expanding its foreign market. We have come this far by virtue of our product quality and have the ultimate aim of giving our customers only the best.
