bauer Spiele & Klänge is a little familiar company located half hour south/west of cologne, a small nature reserve in the middle West of Germany.
We are developpers and producers of windchimes, sound-objects, doorharps and the vibes-line, a soundobjekt. We import instruments from all over the world such as gongs, waterspringbowls, singing bowls, wooden soundanimals, rattles, flutes, tambourines, cimbals, rainmaker, didgeridoos, mouthharps, drums, magnetic toys and many other items. Mostly items who are making sound and you are able to have fun with it, without the necessary to learn how to deal by a teacher.
The company exists since autumn 1991. Mr. Ernst Friedrich Bauer and Mr. Werner Theilken found it with the aim to produce and sell soundinstruments. They began with kalimbas (simple thumbpianos), then they decided to produce highquality tuned windchimes. The instruments were sold on christmasmarkets and, later, to retail traders. At the end of 1992 Mr. Theilken left the company by private reasons and Mr. Bauer manages the company alone. In the following years the product range and the number of employees increases.
Now we import instruments from Africa, Thailand, USA, China, Indonesia, Austria, Peru, Guatemala , Brasilia, India, Chile and export to whole Europe, Asia, USA, Russia and many other countries. You can find us on different christmasmarkets in Germany, for example in Cologne, Aachen, Trier and Bonn. We show our products at the exhibitions Tendence Lifestyle, Ambiente in Frankfurt and at the Nürnberg Toy Fair. There you can see our very nice booth, where you can see our products. And better: They are shown as well to hear, feel and touch them all. We like to advise you for your first and your following orders. Let us touch your senses.
