BondBarrier™ composites are a family of affordable, high performance fabrics engineered as Chemical and Biological barriers against manmade and environmental threats utilizing Saint-Gobain CoreTech™ Barrier Membrane (Patent Pending).  These composites are designed to provide a wide range of protection against chemical and warfare agents.  BondBarrier has been tested and proven to pass HD and VX agents under SD protocol for 72 hours.

These composites are constructed to meet the strictest physical requirements of military performance standards, including flame resistance, blackout, and mildew resistance.  BondBarrierTM composite family currently consists of a range of products including, but not limited to, exterior wall/floor, liner, plenum, and ducting. These composites were developed to allow standard fabrication welding techniques to be utilized, including RF, hot air, hot wedge, and hot bar.  

BondBarrier has been tested in the US per TOP 8-2-501 Method 4.3.4, MIL-STD-282 TM 204 & 206, ASTM F739 passing all requirements. TNO Defence, Security and Safety performed liquid tests with mustard agent (HD) and VX on BondBarrier. Liquid tests with HD and VX (1x100 μl, SD protocol, 37 °C, 72 hours) were performed in triplicate on the fabric.  Final report dated November 27, 2009 proved no breakthrough at 72 hours.
