Brain Bee
Brain Bee group operates in the automotive sector.
It is a leader producer of diagnosis and self-diagnosis tools such as scantools(electronic control unit diagnostics),  exhaust gas analysers, A/C service station for test and recharge vehicle’s conditioning systems.

Company history
A small story. A great Company.
Brain Bee was founded in Parma (Italy) in 2001 by the merger of two companies working in the automotive sector, Brain Bee s.r.l. and Globalpro s.r.l, and a financial company, Capital Consulting.

From the outset,  Brain Bee S.p.A. boasted, among its management positions, professionals with decades of experience in the design and building of electronic devices for vehicle diagnostics, autodiagnostics and emissions tests.
Brimming with enthusiasm and with a rich expertise acquired in the field, they decided to gamble on creating something new on the market.
 
Brain Bee has come quite a way since then, and over a short period of time has gained the full recognition of a part of the sector. As early as December 2004, “Sole 24ore” dedicated one of its articles to Brain Bee:  “The perfect marriage between intelligence and busyness in the automotive sector” . Indeed, Brain Bee was one of the first companies to obtain Vision 2000 certification, making quality its top asset.
 
Research for Brain Bee  was also a major asset for the company’s business. In order to affirm itself professionally speaking in a particularly specialised sector and with an eye on products’ technical evolution, in 2005 the Research & Development office became a subsidiary of Brain Bee. To underline our continual investment in High Tech and our company’s orientation towards innovation on 20 December 2004 Brain Bee Engineering s.r.l. was founded.
 
Brain Bee is becoming one of the leading companies in the Automotive sector, for its innovation, range-width and presence on markets.
 
In the light of these results, our desire and enthusiasm have not cooled and our will to invest further energies and to keep improving continues.

On12 May 2006, Brain Bee Ibérica, S.A. was founded, Spanish subsidiary of Brain Bee S.p.A. Already present on the domestic market since 2002 with a network of its own local distributors, Brain Bee decided to invest in Spain, while deciding to provide greater on-the-spot support to its existing customers.
 
Brain Bee is considered to be one of the top 3 automotive sector producers. It was time to strengthen the sales and production structure and to start taking advantage of increasingly attractive market opportunities.
 
On 10 December 2007, in order to further develop products aimed at the automobile sector in Eastern Europe, the group set up ICS “Brain Bee Engineering Group”srl, company with registered office in Chisinau, in Moldavia, subject to the direct control of Brain Bee Engineering in Parma.
 
The potential of the huge markets of the Far East should not be underestimated.  With this in mind, on 17 June 2008 Brain Bee Asia P.te Ltd was set up, with registered office in Singapore in order to preside over sales in the Far East and to be in a position to directly take the pulse of the market in the zone.
 
The office also has the strategic responsibility of transferring technical-commercial feedback on the Asian market, laying the bases of further development in the future.
 
But the Group is already achieving further growth also in Europe; 2011 will see the founding of Brain Bee’s German office, the result of an agreement made in 2007, which today sees the Parma company acquire a participation in the corporate structure of its own distributor, Techmess-Elektronik.


The current Brain Bee S.p.A. is hence a group composed by 6 different companies, dislocated in Italy, Spain, Germany, Singapore, Moldavia. Two of them are specifically dedicated to automotive diagnostic research and development. 

Markets
Brain Bee’s main traditional markets are represented by the European countries, where the company is widespread present and consolidated thanks to its own distributors’ network.
Today, the European market corresponds to the 90% of the consolidated turnover.
Markets outside the EU represent the real challenge for the next years to come.
Brain Bee is attempting to aim at its own presence in both Far Eastern markets, and particularly in India, Iran, Latin America, Russia.

Certification
Brain Bee S.p.a. has made quality (understood as quality of products, processes and company systems,) one of its working principles.

Therefore, great importance has been put on the requirements of the company’s quality system and the role that the quality department plays in it.
Brain Bee S.p.a., certified ISO 9001:2000 since 2002, is today certified ISO 9001:2008 for the activities carried out at all its production plants.

All production activities are carried out by Brain Bee in conformity with legal and regulatory requirements applicable to:
1.   quality guarantee
2.   user safety
3.   accident prevention and worker protection
