Compi is a modern and dynamic company, founded in 1994 and specialised in casting & machining of components for the automotive market.

Compi’ s strategy is to manage and manufacture different activities and processes with competence and managing know how. These processes integrated between themselves represent a service for the final customer who purchases a subassembly part without additional costs.

The experience acquired supplying the most important players of the whole automotive sector has raised in Compi  a strong “quality oriented” culture that brought the company to obtain, the ISO 9001 certification in 1998, and the ISO TS 16949 in 2005.

The particular attention dedicated by the management towards the environment leaded Compi to reach and maintain the Environment certification ISO 14001 from 1999 (one of the first company in Italy).

PLANTS

The activities are organized in two plants in center Italy:

1.    Lanciano (headquarter and production plant):
total factories dimension 5.500 sqm on a total of 12.000 sqm owned area

2.    Atessa (production plant):
total factories dimensions 5.750 sqm on a total of 21.500 sqm owned area

PRODUCTION

FOUNDRY:
1.    Sand cores with 3 automatic core makers
2.    Aluminum casts
a.    low volume parts by gravity on manual lines ( total capacity about 2400 kgs/day)
b.    high volume part by automatic gravity line (total capacity about 1200 ks/day
c.    high volumes by low pressure lines (total capacity about 2400 kg/day)
3.    Heat treatments with dedicated ovens & automatic decoring / deburring machines are done internally.

MACHINING:
•    Mazak turning CNC machines
•    Mazak drilling CNC machines
•    Tecnofirma washing machines
•    Automatic assembly and packaging line
Most part of the machines are robotic servo with ABB devices.

MOLDING OF PLASTIC PARTS:
•    Injection dieing machines from 95 to 830 tons

THERMOFORMING:
•    ATEM thermoforming line of  mm. 1000x2000
•    CNC BELLOTTI robot
