Dixie Electric Rebuilders Ltd. was founded by Angelo Bucciol in June 1968. Since the original location was to be a building on Dixie Road in Mississaugua, Ontario, Canada, the company was originally named Dixie Electric Rebuilders Ltd.. While the original location was changed to 5380 Chesswood Drive in Downview, Ontario, Canada, the Dixie name was maintained.

Today, over thirty-five years later, Dixie Electric Ltd., is still managed by President, and majority shareholder, Angelo Bucciol. Our 185,000 square foot facility in Concord, Ontario, Canada houses the corporate headquarters, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution center. In addition, we have manufacturing facilities in Shanghai, China, Lianyungang, China, and Pune, India.

Over the years, Dixie Electric has earned the reputation of combining superior service and support with high quality charging and starting products. Our product line encompasses a full range of remanufactured and new alternators, generators, starters, and their components. We also offer state of the industry test equipment through our D&V Electronics division. We provide quality products at competitive prices. In order to assure our customers they will receive the highest quality products and most competitive price available to the industry, we have developed our own manufacturing facilities in China and in India. We can assure our customers they will receive Dixie quality from Dixie Electric facilities.

Our Concord, Ontario facility has a management system that is registered to ISO9001:2000 Standards. Our Shanghai facility is registered to the prestigious OEM required QS9000 management standards. Our Lianyungang, China facility opened in November 2002 and our Pune, India facility opened in June 2003 and are actively working toward ISO registration.
