The EXIDE Technologies Transportation Europe Division provide a broad range of starting and deep-cycle batteries for vehicles ranging from garden tractors to cars, pickup trucks, motorcycles, boats, jet skis, golf cars, farm equipment, RVs, motor homes, buses, tractor trailers and military equipment such as tanks and personnel carriers.
EXIDE Technologies supplies the complete Transportation supply chain –from Original Equipment assembly plants of top selling passengers cars and trucks to the Aftermarket product and services support through dealer networks and retailers.

Our ambition for Transportation Europe is to become the preferred European provider of energy storage solution for automotive applications.

EXIDE Technologies holds 6 major European brands in the Aftermarket: Exide, Tudor, Deta, Centra, Sonnak and Fulmen.
All of them benefit from a strong reputation in their own countries.  They stand for quality and reliability for distributors, installers, and end-users who select our products.

In the fiscal year 2010, EXIDE Technologies recycled sufficient lead tonnage to make the Company one of the largest secondary lead recyclers in the world.
We are also a significant recycler of plastic, capturing the plastic from spent batteries and using it in the production of cases and covers for new batteries.
Recycling protects the environment, and saves energy and money on certain raw materials.
EXIDE Technologies has a total of 10 recycling facilities; 6 in the USA, 3 in Europe and 1 in New Zealand.
