The future, since 1973

Gino Troncon has been operating in the synthetic leather production sector since 1966, focusing daily on his customers' real needs. On the basis of this experience he decided to create a company specialized in the production of machinery and production lines built around the sector's requirements while breaking new ground. That was in 1973, the year he established a new kind of company, Matex. Since then, Gino Troncon's dream has become a reality shared with his children and his whole staff.

The present. Matex: the quality in a brand.

Matex is now an Italian company  with more than 35 years of experience world wide,  designing and manufacturing plants and equipment for coating, lamination, impregnation, embossing, printing  and drying, for solvent or solvent less chemicals, on different kind of substrates; natural or synthetic fabrics, films, silicone and polythene  papers, nonwoven. 

Matex supplies complete processes or single machines for industrial application or even small scale pilot unit for R&D departments.

Matex has accumulated experiences in various productive processes which can be classified on the base of support’s nature: plastic, metalized films, papers, textiles and nonwoven.

Generally these substrates are wound on bobbin reason why such industrial processes are common called “from roll to roll”.

Water, solvent or solvent less base chemical products are employed in these productive processes.
