The Ligatne paper mill was founded in 1815 and today not only produces drawing papers for schools, but also specializes in the production of paper cores and core board, kraft imitation paper, wrapping paper, and other specialized application paper which is developed to suit the customers needs. The art, packaging paper and core production products will be presented at Paper world 2011 where customers can view them.

Customers can be assured of individual attention, from our trained staff, who will ensure that throughout all stages of the development of their product, every detail will be constantly checked. With the help of our flexible production we are able to serve our customers quickly and efficiently according to the agreed delivery conditions.

The personnel of the paper mill has worked intensively and continues to pay great attention to increase production effectiveness and paper quality as well as to increase the range of added value paper grades. In parallel, the company has made serious investments and actions to reduce the environmental impact of paper production. Paper mill “Ligatne” is proud that steam for production needs is produced by biomass steam boiler and our products are CO2 neutral. Practically all paper produced in the paper mill uses waste paper as raw material. By using recycled fibers Ligatne paper mill gives additional share for environmental protection.
