12 V Connectors
7-pin 12 V System The 7-pin 12 V system currently is the most common system for electrical connections between towing vehicles with 12 V supply system and trailers. The system is mostly used in applications with standard requirements. The system consists of a normal socket according to ISO 1724, type N, and an additional socket according to ISO 3732, type S. To avoid confusion with the normal system, the supplementary system features white housings, contact inserts and different contact arrangements. 7+6-pin 12 V System The 7+6-pin 12 V connector system is compatible with the standard ISO 1724 for 7-pin trailer connectors. In addition, it can be wired based on the standard ISO 11446 for 13-pin trailer connectors. Therefore, the system can be used for the electrical connection of towing vehicles and trailers both in 7-pin and as 13-pin operation. 13-pin 12 V System The 13-pin 12 V-system was designed by ERICH JAEGER at the end of the 80´s because of higher requirement demands of the automotive industry. The increased contact number in comparison to the 7-pin system allows for the transmission of all light and additional electrical functions with only one plug. The system continually replaces the older connector systems due to its water resistance, stability, high quality contacts and the easy handling with bayonet lock. The system gets permanently redesigned according to the latest automotive requirements. 2-, 3-, and 4-pin Connectors This product group includes different connectors for special applications. The system according to ISO 4165 is used for the electrical connection of lamps and electric devices like portable refrigerators or coffee makers. The 3- and 4-pin system according to DIN 72575 is used by some vehicle manufacturers for the electrical transmission of special functions. The connectors according to DIN 14690 are designed for battery charging. ABS-EBS 12 V System The ABS/EBS connectors are used on nearly every commercial vehicle type with ABS/EBS System. They show safety features like automatic ejection of the plug in case of faulty wiring. Our connectors cover all versions (5- and 7-pin with different cross sectional areas). The connectors are available for normal and ADR applications.

7-pin 24 V System The 7-pin 24 V system is currently the most common system for electrical connections between truck and trailer or semi-trailer in the commercial vehicle sector. The system is mostly used for applications with standard requirements. The system consists of a normal connector according to ISO 1185, type N, and an additional connector according to ISO 3731, type S. To avoid confusion with the normal system, the supplementary system features white housings, contact inserts and different contact arrangements. Additionally, we are offering plugs according to the American standard SAE J560. 13-pin 24 V System This system is a variation of the 13-pin 12 V system specially designed for 24 V vehicles. It is safe from confusion with the 12 V system due to different codings. 15-pin 24 V System The 15-pin connector is the modern system for the transmission of light and additional functions on 24 V supply systems. The system is used by leading truck manufacturers because of the technical advantages like contact safety and watertightness. The system continually replaces the older connector types. The connectors are available for normal and ADR applications. The letter inserts are red for the 24 V ADR systems and white for the normal systems.
