Adjustable Panhard Rods
When the suspension system is altered in height the fixed length of the front or rear panhard rods can cause the axle to shift to one side. On raised height vehicles this can mean one wheel can protrude past the outer edge of the guard, or in the case of a lowered vehicle, it can make contact with the outer lip of the guard. The Aupart heavy duty panhard rods are adjustable to return the axle to a more central position. We also examine specific needs with our manufacture. For example on the VB-VS Commodore, not only do we make the panhard rod heavy duty, we build in a clearance for big bore exhaust, by giving the panhard rod a slight bend. On our 4WD applications we produce a heavy duty fully adjustable panhard rod also with improvements as required. For example the Jeep front panhard rod has been developed with a removable heavy duty rod end. This means that in the future the rod end is replaceable without having to go to the expense of replacing the entire panhard rod again. Aupart offer a strong range of popular panhard rods and development is constant for new applications as the demand is identified. Aupart has also developed the accessories for the 4WD vehicles.
