    HORIZONTAL ENERGY DISTRIBUTION BUSBAR 25A - 63A PLUG-IN BUSBAR SYSTEMS PRODUCT OVERVIEW (E-Line KAM / KAP) 1 - The busbar sytem shall have rated current levels between 25A and 63A and shall have copper conductors. 2 - Plug-in busbar system shall have one of the following conductor number and configurations; a) 2 conductors : L1 / N / Housing (Earthing) b)3 conductors : L1 / N / PE + Housing  (PE conductor and housing are connected) c) 4 conductors : L1 / L2 / L3 / N / Housing (Earthing) d) 5 conductors : L1 / L2 / L3 / N / PE + Housing (PE conductor and housing are connected)     Housing shall be used as earth conductor. 3 - The rated insulation voltage of the system shall  be 630 V. 4 - On a three meter standard  length there shall be four plug-in points. 5 - The conductors in the housing shall be continuously insulated and only peeled off on the plug-in points to create contact area. 6 - There shall be insulator supports at the plug-in points. 7 - The conductors shall be of electrolytic copper and continuously tin plated. 8 - Each current rating of the busbar system shall have a type test report according to IEC 60439/2. The type test reports shall be from an internationally accepted third party laboratory. 9 - Joint of the busbar shall slide into each other; joint contacts shall be silver plated. To ensure a safe joint contact there shall be springs on both sides of joint contacts. 10 - IP Protection degree of the busbars shall be 55. 11 - The housing of the busbar shall be manufactured of 0,50 mm thick galvanised sheet metal. 12 - Contacts of the tap offs shall be off jawed structure, which touches the conductors on both sides. The contacts shall also have springs. 13 - Manufacturing facility of busbar systems shall have ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.

    COMPACT POWER DISTRIBUTION BUSBAR from 800 A to 6300 A Standards & Certification: - Busbar system shall be designed and manufactured as per IEC 60439-2 standard. Each busbar rating shall have a separate type test certificate from an independent internationally accredited laboratory. - Manufacturing facility of busbar systems shall have ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. - Each product shall have a “Type Label”, which indicates the brand, type of the unit, conductor number and electrical details.  General Structure of Products: - Busbar system shall have “Sandwich-Compact” structure. Aluminium or Copper conductors shall be tin plated along the entire length. Housing shall be 1,50 mm galvanized steel or if required housing shall be RAL7038-Electrostatic painted. Electrical Characteristics: - Busbar systems nominal insulation voltage shall be 1000V. - As per ampere rates, minimum short circuit values shall be like below; For Aluminium Conductors; 800, 1000 ve 1250A                                        : 1sec/rms-50kA, Peak-110kA  1600, 2000 ve 2500A                                     : 1sec/rms-100kA, Peak-220kA 3000A and above                                            : 1sec/rms-120kA, Peak-264kA Housing and Structure: - Busbar system shall have “Sandwich-Compact” structure. - Compact structure of the housing shall be provided by M6 screws applied at every 10 cm along the entire length. - Busbar system shall have all necessary accessories (elbows, offsets, panel-transformer connections, reductions, etc). Manufacturer shall supply special dimensioned units in short time, if the project conditions requires. - For horizontal runs, a horizontal expansion unit shall be used at every 40m and expansion points of the building. - For vertical applications, a vertical expansion unit shall be used at every floor. Busbar system shall be rigidly fixed by supports at every floor.

Housing shall be galvanized steel or if required RAL 7038-Electrostatic painted. The bars shall be supported by insulators installed into the housing at every 25 cm. - On a three meter standard length busbar the distance between the plug-in points on one side shall be 50cms. The points shall be on both sides of the busbar making the  average distance of plug-in points 25cm. - To prevent wrong alignment of the phase sequence during installation there shall be mechanical barriers on the joint that shall ensure correct mounting. - IP Plug-in covers of the busbar system should be hinged.Plug-in windows shall have automatic shutter system. This shutter shall open automatically when the earth contact of tap-off box is inserted. - Busbar system shall have all necessary accessories (elbows, offsets, panel-transformer connections, reductions, etc). Manufacturer shall supply special dimensioned units in short time, if the project conditions requires.

    Energy Distribution System  from 630 A to 6300 A Standards & Certification: -Busbar system shall be designed and manufactured as per IEC 60439-2/1 standard, which requires below listed tests. Each busbar rating shall have a separate type test certificate from an independent internationally accredited certification organisation  including below tests: 8.2.1- Temperature Rise Limits, 8.2.2- Dielectric Features, 8.2.3- Short-circuit Duration, 8.2.4- Effectiveness of Protection Circuit, 8.2.5- Clearances and Creepage Distances, 8.2.6- Mechanical Operation, 8.2.7- Protection Degree, 8.2.9- Resistance of Insulation Material to Abnormal Heat , 8.2.10- Structural Duration, 8.2.12- Crushing Resistance, 8.2.13- Electrical Characteristics,  8.2.14- Flame Propagation, 8.2.15- Fire Resistance (Fire Barrier). - Busbar system shall have CE marking. -The manufacturer of busbar system shall have ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification. -Each product shall have a “Type Label” including coding system, which identifies the brand, type of the unit, number of conductors and electrical details. The same coding shall be on the related certificate and catalogue. - Housing: -Busbar system shall have “Sandwich-Compact” structure. Conductors shall be packed and placed into the housing without leaving air gap in order to provide low reactance. -Housing shall be made of thermal processed, extruded aluminium, RAL7038-Electrostatic painted. -Compact structure of the housing shall be provided by M6 screws applied at every 19cm along the entire length. -The sandwich-compact structure shall continue at the plug-in points too. There shall not be air gap between conductors at the plug-in points.  Joint Structure: - Electrical and mechanical connection shall be made by placing conductor joints into the joint blocks of the connected conductors and followed by tightening and fastening of the joint bolts.  Protection: - Protection degree of the housing and joints shall be IP55/IP67.
