ECU
Emergency lighting is required in all occupied buildings when normal lighting fails because of fire, sabotage, earthquake or because of a breakdown in the energy distribution system. ECU Series are a range of electronic control units complete with batteries, which modify one or more lamps of existing luminaires to emergency operation. These “converted” lamps are switched on and off together with the other lamps in normal conditions but in case of mains failure, they become operational irrespective of the position of the switch. Emergency Conversion Units are a good solution in areas where additional emergency luminaires are not wanted because of aesthetic concerns.
