TRI Arrangements
Traffic Regulation Installations (TRI) control traffic by means of traffic lights. In addition, extra functions can be added to these installations, such as street lighting and traffic signs. The customer has the choice of two models: columns with bracket structures or columns with overhead sign structures. A column with bracket structure consists of one leg with a height of 6 metres and a transverse beam with a maximum length of 10 metres. A maximum of three traffic lights can be mounted to the transverse beam. An overhead sign structure is made up of two legs (on each side of the beam ends) and can handle span widths of up to 20 metres. A maximum of five traffic lights can be mounted on it. In addition, the leg of a bracket column or overhead sign structure can be extended for a public lighting function up to a light-point height of 12 metres and be provided with traffic lights. TRI arrangements alongside the roadway can also serve as post-top columns.
