Flexible silicone coating systems for versatile applicationsOne component silicone coating rangeThe one component silicone range is able to coat elastic and non-elastic tapes in user-friendly and versatile way. Especially for lingerie articles a higher wearing comfort is obtained by eudermic silicone coatings. Furthermore, one component silicone coatings are used for labels, medical and sporting goods to achieve anti-slip or fashion effects.The coating unit is designed for many coating styles and applications. It is not only possible to coat linear strips, but also waves, zigzag coatings, dot coatings or honeycomb coatings can be realised by a movable and changeable application head.To varying widths of the coatings the application head is equipped with a user-friendly template system for waves and strip coatings.After the coating process the tapes run through a tempered drying unit where a defined temperature and humidity are ensured for an optimal drying process of the silicone.All MAGEBA silicone ranges have a computer control system with touch screen which includes an integrated recipe management and an optional modem connection for remote maintenance.Two components silicone coating rangeThe coating with two components silicones is based on a blend of component A and a component B. These two components directly cross-link and harden with heat.The processing of two components silicone is basically more user-friendly than of one component silicone, because unlike one component, two components silicone cross-links faster and controllable so that an easy cleaning is ensured.With an additional mixing unit it is possible to pigment two components silicone for all colours and to use mica particles for special effects.Silicone coating for logos, fonts and patternsScript nameplates, logos and individual patterns can be coated on elastic and non-elastic tapes with a specially designed coating unit with templates. COATING HEAD - MOD. BS2
The Coating Head mod. BS2 has been designed and built so that different coating techniques can be employed. The following are among the advantages the machine has to offer: - Easy implementation: the coating head can be placed at the inlet of a common stenter - Maximum control over compound quantity; process reproducibility is guaranteed - Great flexibility in choosing compounds and textile supports, the variety of which is continuously growing - Great accuracy in the tensioning of textile support passing through the machine. The unit can be used both for air-coating and coating on cylinder, and is equipped with a motorized device to adjust coating thickness through digital displays. The machine is equipped with a rotary screen coating head. Such coating system allows for maximum control over compound penetration. The coating head can be used for monochrome printing as well.
