The automotive division is based on ACTIA’s two long-standing activities: embedded systems on small- and medium-production run vehicles, and electronic diagnostics.
The exponential growth of electronic equipment in all light, commercial or industrial vehicles is entirely correlated with the functional development of these same vehicles. Vehicle manufacturers incorporate complex electronic architecture to address challenges including safety, comfort, connectivity, energy performance, and production costs. Topics such as autonomous vehicles, connected and communicating vehicles, sustainable vehicles and more, are all covered by electronic architecture performance.
At the forefront of electronic diagnostics, multiplexed architectures or electric drive systems, ACTIA is making major technological advances in electronics. The group has undergone substantial and controlled growth since it was created in 1986. In turn, ACTIA can meet the expectations of its OEM customers with the same level of flexibility and anticipation, whilst offering large-scale integrated resources. This unique combination is specific to intermediate-sized businesses and is a guarantee for the group’s customers, which include major international manufacturers of light, commercial or industrial vehicles. Many of these customers have been partners with ACTIA for 30 years.
In 2003, the group ACTIA - partner of the biggest manufacturers of vehicles for the design, the diagnosis and the manufacturing of embedded systems- buyouts the brand MULLER BEM a reference in workshop equipment since 1919. ACTIA Automotive proposes a complete range in electronic diagnosis, workshop equipment and lines of inspection today.
In 1953 MULLER BEM created the brake tester bench. In 1985 ACTIA invents the vehicle inspection equipment with the XR 25, the first tool of electronic diagnosis.
ACTIA also has fleet management solutions for light vehicles parks, city bus and coaches in order to reconcile Safety, Comfort, Environment and Management issues. The modules of embedded on-line data processing ACTIA interfaces with the portalsof management of various partners to benefit from new features of dated management.
