For over 30 years our mission has always been to design and release systems aimed at

     

  • making the use of energy and the management of public lighting systems more efficient;

  • applying smart technologies to public services

  • optimizing machine-to-machine data communication in electricity, water and gas distribution networks

  • digitizing the Public Sector by optimizing its procedures through the most modern and accredited electronic governance tools

and it took shape in its hyperSIC, Luminibus and APYLink systems, widely appreciated and used by numerous Local Authorities, Utilities and Global Service companies in Italy and worldwide.

Its technology is highly appreciated so as to become one of the most important supplier of the leading distributors of energy in Europe.

R&D is completely managed by APKAPPA direct employees in the HQ of Magenta (Milan) and its Italian branch offices; any device go through heavy internal quality procedures and tests by certification bodies according to national and international standard regulations.

APKAPPA R&D team also benefits of technical partnerships with international manufacturers like ST Microelectronics, Sierra Wireless and Microsoft. Moreover, at the very start of Meters and More Association funded by Enel and Endesa with the aim of operating and promoting new generation communication protocols, APKAPPA has been invited to join it as a technological partner to contribute with its expertise to the project.

APKAPPA smart technologies are applied on smart metering and street lighting remote management systems, smart city solutions, water-gas-energy distribution and Italian Public Sector ERP.

APKAPPA is skilled in combining street lighting remote management with Internet of Things; the result is Luminibus®, by which extraordinary results of increased efficiency in plants management and energy consumptions are achieved thank to the point to point remote management. At the same time the street lighting plant becomes a communication infrastructure for smart city services in the territory.
