The ‘Anema e Corde’ luthiery workshop is the brainchild of a group of four Masters with a degree in ‘Master Luthiers in Design, Construction and Restoration of Stringed Musical Instruments’. Totally following the creative spirit of Neapolitan craft, ‘Anema e Corde’ is committed to the diffusion of the traditional Neapolitan luthiery school, but at the same time to the introduction of personal and original elements into classical models.
The exclusive use of naturally seasoned wood of resonance coming from ‘Val di Fiemme, Italy’ and the Balkans, specific constructive techniques, the best varnishes, an accurate study of sound quality of instruments make of ‘Anema e Corde’ an innovative and important laboratory of research on the art of luthiery.
During these years ‘Anema e Corde’ has realized many activities, such as conferences, laboratories, special events and exhibitions, for instance:
· · From 2003 onwards: Exhibitors at ‘Cremona Mondomusica’, the international exhibition of musical instruments and luthiery accessories.
· From 2004 onwards: Exhibitors at ‘Musikmesse’, international exhibition of music and musical instruments, Frankfurt (Germany).
