The Bloomingville design philosophy can be conveyed in just four words. Not only because we love natural simplicity, but also because we’re deeply inspired by everyday designers – by how they, with great passion, keep their homes ever changing as a way to feel happy and alive.
We do not design to dominate homes, spaces or people, but to support them – to let users be creative with our products as they please.
Every season we introduce new products, designs and styles to provide our customers with new inspiration. And we work hard to give our fans as many opportunities as possible. Even though this often means hundreds – and sometimes thousands – of new design items, we never compromise our passion as designers. Every single object is drawn by hand. It’s discussed, evaluated and improved by our design team and will only go into the collection if it’s really making us happy.
Creative Director Betina Stampe and her executive design team are always looking for things that seem imperfect at first glance. That's what makes the Bloomingville design recognizable by its soft and nicely rounded finish and light and welcoming look that creates a relaxing feeling.
We strive to be the design brand with the strongest power of change in the world. As a rule, just a few Bloomingville items should be able to make the entire home look surprisingly refreshed and stylishly confident.
And a bit happier.
Driven by a fascination for Nordic style and living, Creative Director Betina Stampe established Bloomingville in 2000. Since then, she has shared her passion for creative ways of keeping the home in a mode of constant change with people all across the globe. Along the way, Betina made her husband Simon Stampe CEO, and Bloomingville has in a little more than 15 years grown into one of the main global brands for home interior.
Despite the massive popularity and growth the Bloomingville mission has stayed the same: Delivering happy changes to everyday designers. This mission is made possible by a wide selection of fashionable products, reasonable prices, good quality and a high service level.
Today the Bloomingville idea has been adopted by millions of homes, and in 2014 the company became part of US-based Regent Holding and are annually releasing 2 main collections, 5 express collections and 1 Christmas collection.
The red thread across time and the many collections is found in the products' significant ability to create a warm, informal ambiance in every home. Bloomingville is deeply rooted in the famed Danish aesthetic tradition and have always been working to bring new life and small surprises into modern homes.
