1.2D SHAPE DESIGN│WORKING DAYS: 7
Based on OEM / Original car and market trends, we efficiently turn customers’ ideas into practical, stylish and marketable products. Continual discussions with clients on 2D design is essential.
2. SCANNING AND 3D CAD│WORKING DAYS: 8
3D laser scanning analyses of a real-world car to collect data on the car shape and appearance. This data can be used to construct 3D cad profiles. CAR- GO has two types of engineering to turn customer’s ideas into marketable products; the major one is forward engineering that represents creative design, a traditional process of moving from abstract database into physical database, and anther is reverse engineering which also called back engineering where there is an effort to build backward, from a model to an imitation, or to untwist the process of how something was put together.
3. MOCK-UP│WORKING DAYS: 10
The mock-up is produced within 10 days for ensuring the fit to the car meets all specification.
4. CNC MOLD MACHINING│WORKING DAYS: 40
All molds are built by our highly skilled staff and closely monitored to ensure that each step in the process is performed correctly.
5. QUALITY CONTROL
To check the flatness of the mold surface we subject it to a close visual inspection by our trained engineers. Once we are satisfied, we scan it and then compare it to the 3D data we obtained earlier. Only if the data matches will the mold is it accepted.
Moreover, strict quality control inspections, checking gauges, is to ensure the size and hole locations meets our satisfaction.
6. SAMPLES & TEST INSTALLATION & PROGRAMMING & INSTALLATION GUIDE │WORKING DAYS: 25
It is essential to make a hand-made sample for trial on cars, machine programming and installation of SOP before mass production.
