Cascade Engineering Europe (CEE) was established in 1994 as European regional headquarters of an international enterprise group, Cascade Engineering. We are engaged in the planning and the production of plastic injection tools, design, inject, and assembly of several plastic products. CEE has 21 years experience in the Automotive industry. CEE can complete complex part design projects either by internal design team or by external partners. We can manage design work on all major platforms – CATIA, NX – that are currently used in the automotive industry. Different simulation tools – flow, deflection and kinematics analysis – help us to verify our concept during the design phase. Thanks to the various prototype technics and our strategic partnership with the Technical University of Budapest we are able to validate our concept in the reality.
Our internal tool shop is able to manage complete tooling projects including design activity, manufacturing and fine tuning. To expand our capacity we have strategic partnership with local toolmakers.
The injection molding tool design work is based on PTC Creosoftware, supported with different analysis tools. The tool shop is equipped with all machinery that is necessary to complete manufacturing steps from the rough milling to the finest tuning steps. Our tool makers – experts on their field – have all the knowledge and practice that is required for complex tool fitting and assembly.
The injection plant has 27 molding machines between 40T and 500T, including four 2C machines. Most of the machines are equipped with robot to support 2C injection and part handling – especially for visual products or multicavity tools.
Majority of our products is assembly – fluid quick connectors and kinematic products.
The fully automated cell developed by CEE allows to assemble, check and pack millions of quick connectors without human interaction.
Robot support and high automation help our operators to do the assembly on the airvent lines. Different sensors and a sophisticate end-of-line camera checking system ensure the control of the products.
For the geometrical control of our products – beside the conventional CMM machine – we use GOM Atos 3D scanner. This advanced optical measurement technic offers new opportunities in part evaluation and virtual gauging.
