It was already in 1864 when the then Forest Mill was rebuilt it into a Majolica manufacture. In 1885, the firm O. C. Teuchert from the near Meissen purchased the factory from him and started there production of porcelain in Rococo style with so called “onion” pattern. Now the company’s name is Český porcelán and assortment with the onion design achieves 660 shapes. In addition within program are more than 100 mug shapes of mugs, modern collection Bohemia or sets Praha and much more.
Český porcelán a.s. is one of four world producers of china with so called “onion” pattern. This decoration was developed before more than 250 years and has been produced under the trademark of a royal crown for a period of 150 years. This trademark represent the tradition of quality of production and design. It means the guarantee for our satisfied customer. It is a trademark linked with the history of production of china in the factory in Dubí, the Czech Republic, since its foundation up to now.
