Delata Ghana is a private limited liability company engages in designing, manufacturing and exporting of handmade baskets made from environmentally friendly savannah elephant grass straws.
The baskets which are commonly known as Bolga Baskets are hand woven by economically deprived women in the rural areas of Bolgatanga District in the Upper East Region of Ghana in West Africa.
The women use the income generated from weaving baskets for the upkeep of the families and the education of their children.
Our operational relationship with the groups of women weavers is based on fair trade principles.
Formulates the design of traditional and contemporary baskets and organizes groups of women to weave them into various shapes, sizes and colors
Marketing and export of Baskets worldwide
Provides Export Agency Services to Buyers of Bolga Baskets including;
Linking Buyers to Weaver Groups in Ghana
Managing orders from Buyers to the Weaver groups
Shipping the orders for the Buyers
Providing Shipping or Forwarding Services to Buyers and Producers of crafts and non-traditional export products from Ghana worldwide.
