The story of Finlayson began in 1820. In a short period of time Finlayson became the largest industrial enterprise in Scandinavia and its growth was based on unique courage and open-mindedness.The first electric light in the Nordic countries was switched on at the factory's weaving mill in 1882. Finlayson studio, founded in 1951, was in the first wave of Scandinavian fabric design to conquer the world with its original, minimalist, colourful and fresh approach.
Today Finlayson lives on anew. We are convinced that the only way to honour Finlayson's history is to show courage, broadmindedness and willingness to design new interesting interior textiles.
Welcome to Finlayson's booth to experience Finlayson’s new home textiles featuring designs by the renowned artist and award-winning writer Hannu Väisänen.
