About Us

Take me directly to Range of services

GHM’s skills are acknowledged to be unique. It has been using these skills to make urban equipment via all forms of metal transformation (casting, sheet-metalwork, machining, finishing, etc.) since 1837.

Every day 800 employees produce equipment in four European factories. These are used by people in cities across the world: hundreds of references attest to this.

Designers, architects, town planners and community decision makers, recognising the distinctiveness of GHM and Eclatec, its subsidiary, make use of their skills on a daily basis.

A wide range of existing solutions:

Collaboration with major designers has allowed the range to multiply in terms of products and styles.

Collaborative creation:

When the project lends itself to it, the designer and constructor can be even more creative through sharing, because of the broad range we deal with, and this creativity also comes from the ability to make unique choices in terms of materials, technology and finishes.

If necessary, laboratories and test benches complement the strategies that come from simulation, integration and calculation software.

French and foreign cities, towns and villages of all sizes have been installing GHM equipment for a long time.

Among the most famous in France include the lighting on the Champs-Elysées, the Guimard metro entrances and Wallace fountains. Outside Paris there’s the lighting on the Canebière in Marseille, the tram infrastructure in Lyon (electricity masts, lighting, street furniture), and equipment in Orléans and Dijon.

Exports have been very successful: the cities of Rome (100,000 lights), Brussels, Amsterdam and Stockholm, and further afield Rabat, Baku, Kuala Lumpur and Canberra rely on the two firms' products.

Spirit and philosophy.

GHM's enthusiasm and creativity are endless, creating a friendly and safe city for its users, being at the forefront of emerging urban practices, aiming for street furniture to fit coherently into urban landscapes, respecing the environment, seeking top performance and focusing on duration and quality.
