We are the Market Leader with History
Our company once started as an art studio and punching service. Paul Gunold founded his business in Plauen, Germany, in 1927.
Today we are an international company and our range of products has been continuously improved and widened to match the increasing requirements of our customers
The brand name GUNOLD stands for high quality, friendly service and expert advice.
Our main focus lies on innovation, high quality and environmental protection.
Stagnation means regression – and therefore everything we do is always in motion. Permanent intensive research and development work determine the standard of our products.
We offer a wide range of products for all your embroidery needs and continuously expand and develop our state-of-the-art range of products with important goals in mind: customer benefit, cost effectiveness, continuously improved environmental compatibility. This was true for the past, it continues to be true for the presence and it will set the pattern for all of our future products.
We will never compromise on quality. For the production of our embroidery threads - the largest product segment of GUNOLD - we only use materials of highest quality.
In addition to our products from our own production we carry an extensive assortment of embroidery materials from all over the world, which are also of selected quality, have an outstanding array of application possibilities and are easy to use. Gunold GmbH always offers precision with highest quality - because only the best quality will survive!
Already in 1994 our threads were certified according to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 without any problems. This was achieved at a time when the topic of environmentally friendly production was not yet a high priority in our industry.
Our name stands for selected and high quality products only!
