The universal and flexible spiral system for conveying, cooling and freezing of meat, fish, poultry and other food products. The arctic. offers for medium to large capacities, especially due to the wide range of standardised additional equipment for each product the optimal and individual solution.
Assembled from premounted modules, in short time installed on site. as single drum or double drum, as upwards or downwards conveying system in belt widths from 660 mm to 1422 mm. Depending on the product the arctic is equipped with 12 to 36 tiers for capacities from 500 kg/h to 5.000 kg/h. The central drive underneath the drum with no chains or any other open greasing points.
Also depending on the process and product the air flow is horizontally or vertically. For production times of 144h without interruption the sequential defrost phase is one further successful features of the arctic.

Options for arctic.
energySAV®- The upgrade for systems of the arctic. range for reduced energy consumption and operating costs.
The energySAV option comprises various modules such as “Premium efficiency” motors, product-oriented air volume control or air speed control due to frequency-controlled ventilators, housing with enhanced insulation (170 mm insulation thickness) for reducing refrigeration losses and heat load oriented control of the refrigeration demand due to additional sensors.
And in addition for systems with sequential defrosting:
condiMOT® - Automated condition monitoring for the entire system. Customers benefit from early detection of condition changes, which can point towards a possible failure of parts or components and may require suitable measures in order to return the system to its target state. This results in fewer breakdowns due to the timely detection of immanent damage and thereby the avoidance of system standstill as well as reduced maintenance costs since maintenance work is only called for when necessary.
Hygienic cabling- An option for improving general hygiene and cleanliness around the plant. Hygienic cabling means that all cables from the consumer are routed out of the insulated housing via the shortest possible route. Outside the housing the cables are routed using the "single cable layering" process. They are collected via a bus system and routed to the control cabinet.
Combined with the fully welded insulated housing, which is placed on the flat floor of the building, as well as a base frame or concrete foundations, we offer the highest possible hygiene standards for food production.
