Composite Engineering & Design - solid modeling with CATIA V5 and Solidworks Premium, fiber and material selection, mold tooling design, prototype design & manufacture
Composite Structures - standard braiding, over-braiding, filament winding, automated ply cutting & kitting, in-autoclave curing, composite oven curing, resin-transfer molding (RTM & L-RTM), resin infusion (VaRTM), 200-ton heated and cooled platen press (1000° F capability)
Because we are inventors, Highland’s facilities are part factory, part laboratory. Our scientists use a variety of sophisticated tools and methods to create new answers to our customers’ new needs. We use the same capabilities to test products during production for continuous quality assurance.
