About Us

Take me directly to Range of services

IVV, Industria Vetraria Valdarnese, was founded in 1952 by a group of master glassmakers in San Giovanni Valdarno, the very heart of Tuscany. Over the years, IVV grew to become one of Europe’s  main producers of blown glass and handmade glass by bringing together research on materials, design, traditional artisanal techniques and process controls to create objects that constantly change and renovate rooms and the dinner table.

Our Passions

PASSION FOR WORK

If you have a great job, you do it with passion. Passion is a form of enjoyment, but it is also pain and suffering. Everything is more intense, you worry that it will end. So you are more alert, more motivated, more determined. The breath of passion drives us to the future.

PASSION FOR GLASS

Transparency, brightness and sound are the adjectives that distinguish quality glass from common glass. These characteristics come about from the raw material that is used, the production techniques applied and the mastery and expertise our glassmakers hone and perfect every day.

PASSION FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Our glass is “clean”, it contains no lead oxides or polluting substances. Our caring for the environment begins with prevention and the safety of those who live within and outside of our plant, all the way to the recycling of our waste products.

PASSION FOR BEAUTY

An eclectic approach to all things made of glass has always distinguished our collections: modernity, materials, naturalness and a revisitation of classic forms for collections with a powerful emotional and aesthetic appeal.
