K.TeX, certainly one of the smallest fully integrated textile companies in the world, sees itself as a workshop for the development and production of cutting edge textiles. Know-how and the production technology which is available to us open up almost unlimited options in product design.
Through the right selection, combination, and processing of yarns, coatings and laminating films, surface structures with a wide range of properties can be produced. From the conception to the finished product, K.TeX holds all of the strings: formulas for coating materials and laminating adhesives are developed and optimized in our own laboratory. Thanks to a rugged and highly flexible weaving technique, all filamentary and wire-like materials can be processed. Highly variable impregnation, coating, and laminating techniques are conducive to the rendering of a wide range of products.
In-house testing devices ensure a comprehensive and application-specific qualification of the products that extends far beyond the requirements of the industry standards.

The development of our own recipes, optimized fabric structures, and composite concepts are part of our core competence. These form the basic building blocks for the new technical textiles we derive in collaboration with our customers and partners. Production technology should not restrict the leeway when it comes to designing solutions. Consequently, we are always able to enhance and modify existing processes. For us, the establishment of new, largely self-developed processing techniques is a matter of course.

K.TeX is an innovation-driven manufacturer of technical textiles with a focus on „heat applications,“ which means we specialize in attributes, such as fire / heat-resistant, insulating, and non-combustible / flame retardant.
Precautions against heat and fire are safety-
relevant and are required in many situations.
Thanks to technical textiles, new avenues can be explored here. Fire curtains, which can contain a 1100 °C hot blazing fire for hours; insulation textiles shrouding power plant turbines heated to 600 °C; textile heat shields that protect sensitive electronics in the engine compartment of a car; non-combustible architectural textiles; and textile reflectors for powerful 5000 watt photo lamps are just a few of the examples.
