It features the innovative Lagofusion base, which has a layer of toothed steel fused perfectly to the visible aluminium disc. The two layers of the base along with the three layers of the body (steel-aluminium-steel) create a unique 5-layer technology which allows for even better heat distribution: 50% more to the base and walls compared to the traditional Lagostina base, providing constant and even temperature.
