In 2007, thanks to high recognition and support from the market, two Taiwan-based companies, LeaLea and Li Peng, decided to merge forces to integrate their polyester, nylon and synthetic fabrics under a new company name: LIBOLON.

Libolon is the Corebrand covering both polyester and nylon fields as well as providing an array of services including polymerization, spinning, weaving, dyeing and post-finishing processes in Asia.

Li Peng Enterprise was established in 1975 and started as a factory producing paper printing under the Transcolor brand. Starting in the year 2000, the company shifted production to nylon chips, filament yarns and synthetic fabrics. Now the largest Nylon 6 chip manufacturer in Asia, Li Peng Enterprise manages five production lines with a maximum capacity of 800 tons/day per plant. In addition, the company also produces numerous synthetic fabrics. Recently, Li Peng began production of home textiles, functional textiles for sportswear & outdoor and textiles for industrial end-uses. The company is vertically integrated from raw materials upstream, to weaving, dyeing and post-finishing processes.

LeaLea Enterprise, established in 1979, specializes in polyester DTY providing raw materials to textile manufacturers in the domestic Taiwanese market. The company now also exports its products all over the world. In 1990, LeaLea became a public company.
