Maharani started as jewelry company in 1981. As the tourism and business growth in Bali, especially in crafts business, Maharani decided to also expand into the handicrafts business. The range of crafts at that time was from all material and all market segment as we have to supply many different segments of buyer In 2011 Maharani joint the ECP program by CBI as Maharani saw the need to adjust with the upcoming business, to match with what current market needs. Through this program, Maharani slowly learned that the mind set of 'one stop shopping' can no longer survive. The question of 'what is your identity, your strength' has become a tough question to be answered. But through the whole process, Maharani know that the company need to go back to it's root, the 'jewelry style and craftmanship'. Further, that thought of company strength has grown into idea of 'twisting jewelry to home decor'. This idea become the new vision of Maharani, the vision of beautifying your home with the jewelry-like ornaments This new identity now bring Maharani to a more specific market segments, refine and more luxurious products.
