Maysan was established in 1969 in order to manufacture shock absorbers for the automotive industry ranging from passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, buses and heavy duty trucks trailers to some railway and military applications. The company was acquired by Çukurova Group in 1976. In parallel to general trend of strategical alliances in the automotive sector Maysan formed a joint venture with Mando Corporation from South Korea in 1997 and company changed its name to Maysan Mando.

Maysan Mando , manufacture under ISO 9001, ISO TS 16949, ISO 14011 systems. In addition to those stated, Maysan Mando obtained Ford Q1 certification in 2008, 5 Star quality award by Hyundai Motor Company and EFQM Bursa Quality award in 2009.

Maysan Mando provides service to a prestigious customer portfolio in OEM market, such as Renault, Hyundai, KIA, Mercedes Benz Turk, Ford Otosan, Iveco, BMC, Otokar, Temsa Global, Isuzu, Karsan and SAF Holland . In the export markets Maysan Mando products reach all over Europe , North Africa , Middle East , Russia and Latin America . In the local aftermarket Maysan Mando products are distributed under Maysan Mando and Maysan Halla brands. 65% of the Company’s total production is dedicated to OEMs and 35% is supplied to Local and Export A/M.

Maysan Mando, which is cognizant that the most important indicators of competitiveness in global market are science, technology and R&D investments, aimed to add new generation, competitive product to its existing product family by establishing RD center in 2012. By commissioning of the new factory which was established in 2013 and new investments, production capacity reached 7.5 million shock absorbers in full space.
