The company MENOZZI LUIGI & C. SPA is specialised in the production of technology and machinery for the meat industry, especially as regards complete production systems for cooked ham, raw ham, bacon, salami and other meat products, cooked or seasoned.
It was founded in 1957 by Luigi Menozzi, who lead the company till last June. His son Enrico is now at the head of the company helped by an experienced staff of co-operators. It is located in Albinea, Italy, closed to Parma, world capital of ham production, and Bologna, famous for Mortadella production: that is in an area where meat production is a tradition.
Right from the start MENOZZI LUIGI is dedicated to technological innovation trying always to produce machinery of maximum quality able to satisfy the needs of each customers. In fact the main characteristic of this company is the capability of offering “custom-made” technological solutions for manufacturing cooked or seasoned meat products, based on a philosophy of constant innovation, service excellence and total quality.
MENOZZI with his engineering department has a great experience in developing lay-out for the complete production line of cooked ham, that is from in coming of raw meat to the weighing, packaging, labelling and storing of the finished product. All this is made easier by the overhead transport and storage system that allows to store and move big quantities of products easily, making best use of the available space, and it guarantees the highest hygienic standard.
The main product of MENOZZI is the wide range of Massaging Machines and Tumblers able to satisfy the different needs of customers. These machines available in different sizes, with vacuum and temperature control, are very versatile and can be employed both for injected product to be cooked, and for meat treated with dry salt, to be seasoned.
Of the best quality and sold all over the world are MENOZZI Brine Preparing Systems and Storage Tank of different sizes and equipped in different ways according to the different brines that the customer has to obtain. New is the “height shear” mixing system that make smooth and homogeneous the thickest brine, optimising the injection and the quality of the final product. MENOZZI LUIGI & C. SPA produces also Ovens and Moulds to cook hams, Presses to close moulds, Overhead Twin Rail Transport and Storage Systems, Machinery to Palletise meat products, Presses for Boneless Row Hams of different shapes and sizes and Presses for Bacon.
MENOZZI LUIGI supplies almost all Italian leader companies in the production of cooked and seasoned hams and other meat products.
