Origin of a great company
Microfibres has been founded in the USA in 1926 as a family owned and run business and rapidly became the largest supplier of synthetic velour in the world mostly since 1975, under the leadership of its actual owner and President, Jim McCulloch.
Microfibres Europe, situated in Laarne, Belgium, joined the Microfibres Group in 1995, contributing additional know-how to the group and consolidating its international presence. Ideally placed in the heart of Europe, we manufacture and market the unique Microfibres® velour.
Our mission is to be the best supplier, in markets we choose to compete, by dedicating ourselves to continually improving the quality of our products and exceeding customer requirements faster and more consistently than our competition. This philosophy underlies and guides everything we do. Customer satisfaction is foremost in the mind of each one of our Microfibres Europe employees.
Microfibres will meet or exceed all applicable environmental regulations and operate in a manner that protects the quality of our environment.
