MCL Global is a young, dynamic, fast-growing publishing company with a leading team of in-house journalists and experts in the global textile sector.
In early 2015 it was selected by Goldman Sachs - from hundreds of other UK businesses - to take part in a highly innovative busi-ness course in conjunction with Leeds University Business School designed for the most promising small and medium sized enter-prises in the North of England.
Our leading publications span the entirety of the global textile industry, from our market-leading Ecotextile News, to sister publications Knitting Trade Journal and Sustainable Nonwovens. As well as our biannual Eco-Textile Labelling Guide, our specialist reports include the groundbreaking Detox Deconstructed, Cotton Horizons, and most recently, the Sustainable Sourcing Map. Elsewhere, we run the executive recruitment website, Careers in Textiles.
MCL Global works in partnership with a number of textile trade and retailer-led organisations such as The European Outdoor Group and the Sustainable Apparel Coalition. It is a long-term partner of Messe Frankfurt – the largest textile trade show organisers in the world where MCL Global is a co-organiser of the Planet Textiles event in Shanghai, which is set for its sixth annual exhibition in October 2015.
In partnership with Marks & Spencer and the University of Leeds, MCL Global was also a founder of the not-for-profit organisation the RITE Group which aims to reduce the environmental impact of the global textile industry.
