OOCAR’s mission is to help automotive aftermarket businesses to serve drivers better with personalised services.
OOCAR consists of a connectivity solution (Bluetooth unit); a mobile application; and a service platform providing access to user data (CRM) and vehicle data (VRM). After two years of R&D, OOCAR launched its offer commercially in November 2015.
Hundreds of drivers have already purchased OOCAR via its "showcase" merchant site oocar.com. OOCAR’s driver community drive thousands of miles every day, and use OOCAR to improve their driving experience and access better services for their car.
Already available in French, English and Italian, OOCAR targets the European market through direct distribution (via oocar’s website and via wholesale distributors to retailers), and an indirect distribution via its industrial service partners (in the fields of motor insurance, dealers of used vehicles, maintenance and repair garages, and spare parts and consumables vendors).
Established in 2013, OOCAR is a French company founded by Philippe Chassany, serial entrepreneur in the field of services and mobile content. OOCAR’s team is based in Paris, in the premises of PRINE (Paris Nord Express), incubator and business center operated by Paris & Co. OOCAR is part of the FrenchTech movement, is a member of Cap Digital’s competitive cluster, and benefits from the JEI label (a government recognized “young innovative company”).
