The world’s first critical-source edition of the complete works of Fryderyk Chopin edited by Prof. Jan Ekier and the twelve-volume Encyclopedia of Music enjoy particular acclaim.PWM is an agent for many foreign publishers including Schott Music, Boosey & Hawkes, Edition Peters, Universal Edition Wien and Music Sales. A specialist quarterly magazine is published in Polish („Kwarta”) and in English („Quarta”).
The Head Office is located in Cracow and the Library of Orchestral Materials is in PWM’s Warsaw Branch.
