Already by 1938, Sambonet started developing sophisticated industrial technologies to produce stainless steel, making its way to the silver plating process.

The conquest of the international market comes from 1956 by being chosen – among 53 competitors – to supply the Cairo Hilton Hotel with a holloware line that is still in its collection today. Starting from the Sixties, Sambonet began a series of collaborations that would have lead to collections that affirm and spread the company’s focus on design.
Roberto Sambonet, in particular, created collections of primary importance, such as the “Pesciera”, the “Center line” and “Linea 50” trays that can be admired at the MoMA in New York.
From the most classic styles to experiments with the latest designs, Sambonet has won numerous prestigious international awards, including the Compasso D’Oro ADI, Red Dot and GOOD Design Award. Sambonet perfectly combines tradition and innovation, safeguarding quality and carefully crafted details. The production ranges from flatware to design objects, through holloware and kitchen utensils.
Sambonet focuses mainly on stainless steel, with flatware collections that ranges from classic to design through modern, even with the use of special finishes like vintage and PVD, in addition to different collections of holloware and serving pieces.
This brand, for the kitchen, offers a wide range of pots and casseroles in stainless steel, terracotta and cast iron; stainless steel, wood and silicone accessories; table mats; molds and some flatware lines of everyday life.
Lastly, Sambonet completes its product’s range with luxury collection that made the history of design like the Pesciera by Roberto Sambonet and the Centerpiece by Gio Ponti with all its versions. The offer is completed by some flatware lines realized in electroplated nickel silver.
