Sharpening and polishing knives was how the Froment family started their business 1963 in Thiers, the French capital of the cutlery industry. Here knives have been made for more than 6 centuries.
Second generation cutler Philippe Froment, with know-how passed on by his family launched the CAPDECO cutlery brand in 2002.
Today, using what can now be aptly referred to as expertise passed frfom one generation to the next, third generation cutler Edouard Froment and collaborators design and manufacture a wide range of culery of irreproachable quality. Every CAPDECO product is proudly assembled by hand.
