The Italian handcraft company was set up in 1980 by Ester Miramonti when she had the artistic idea to turn her love for nature into an innovative product.
Ester Bijoux's head office is based in the midst of the Ticino Park area (Unesco Heritage) of north Italy and is surrounded by a variety of tree species.
The creation of Ester Bijoux's unique crafting process takes 5 weeks.
The harvesting of the leaves takes place in March and April, when they are green and their structure solid and easy to be treated.
The Leaves are consequently kept inside the pages of big books where the leaves maintain their original shape and the paper takes away the humidity.
Once dried completely the leaves are then put into galvanic frames and covered with a thin copper layer.
This process solidifies the leaves while preserving their intricate details.
The final layer is achieved though a pink or yellow gold bath.
Ester Bijoux gold and silver leaves, seeds, flowers and shells are fabulous decoration for brooches, earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
The final product is a fine jewellery collection that embodies nature's bounty in time with lightness, elegance and simplicity.
Whilst remaining faithful to its roots in providing a personal and individual service to all its customers, this Italian family business has matured over recent years. Ester Bijoux has grown in Italy and also in Russia, Turkey, USA, Japan, Latin America and Europe.
