About Us

Take me directly to Range of services

Designing and manufacturing of high class home textiles is the affair of our heart: blankets, plaids, pillows, carpets, lamps. The characteristic: all designer pieces are handknitted! 100% natural, untreated pure new wool, merino, extremely tender baby alpaca, as well as pure silk, Yak hair, linen and other  smooth matrials become exclusive It-Pieces, made in Berlin. The sustainability of our materials is top priority.

Thomas Overesch Berlin is a young and upcoming label from Berlin that realizes living space concepts and designs living space accessories. Luxury knitted pieces are at the focus of our designs.  All our products are hand-made originals created with love, patience, and time here in Germany either by us or by small craft production firms that concur with our philosophy of “deceleration”. We use high-quality and ecologically safe materials whenever possible and take care that the wool we purchase is untreated and free of harmful additives. We also control every stage of the manufacture and production of our products.

Thomas Overesch founded the label in 2012. After studying Design in Hamburg, he worked for small and big labels in- and outside of Germany for many years. In 2005 he relocated and opened a restaurant in Athens but continued his devotion to his passion of designing furniture and realizing living space concepts for a wide variety of exacting clients. After his return to Germany, he opened his showroom “Schöner Leben – Wohnen & Objekte” in Berlin in August 2012.
