The Tognana family first established a brickworks company over two centuries ago, in 1775. In 1946 a new factory was opened specialising in ceramics, starting with majolica and soon after moving on to porcelain, where the traditional procedures of firing, spinning and glazing were employed.
A dynamic company that keeps abreast of the times, Tognana has invested considerable resources not only in the key production areas but in infrastructures and logistics as well, so as to improve product quality and service to its clientele. Tognana Porcellane S.p.A., located in Casier (Treviso), is currently the major Italian manufacturer of tableware porcelain for Horeca and household use, with 25 million pieces sold every year worldwide.
