"Uusinta" is a Finnish word meaning both "replay" and "newest". As a Finnish publishing house, Uusinta Publishing Company is specialized in publishing new Finnish music of contemporary composers. Founded in 2000, Uusinta represents almost all Finnish composers of the 1960s to '80s generations. Its cataloque is relatively compact and values quality more than quantity. Uusinta's cataloque contains works by e.g. Ralf Gothóni, Sebastian Fagerlund, Markus Fagerudd, Perttu Haapanen or Lotta Wennäkoski. Besides music of our time modern Finnish classics of the 20th century and pedagogical music play an increasingly important role in the cataloque. Uusinta welcomes You to examine its cataloque – Your primary source to the new Finnish music.
