The Vector™ group was founded by Peter Lancaster in Australia in 1986. Vector Europe™ began in 1992 with the first production in Belgium, and the company expanded rapidly. Since 1997, the European company has been managed by Andrew Lancaster. The Vector U.S. production began in 1997 in Kansas, and was expanded in several stages. Today Vector is one of the leading suppliers worldwide of special artificial casings, films, shrink bags, and cooking bags for the food industry.
Vector™ Sausage Casings
Vector™ sausage casings are designed to protect and present meat and other food products during cooking and shipping. These well-known casings have a wide range of properties, which allow tailor made solutions for many products. The Vector™ Cook and Strip range have different meat adhesion options, which are efficient in stripping off to maximize saleable product.
Vector™ 3000 Range - Pre-Stickable Shrink Tubing
Vector™ 3000 is a shrink casing which contains and binds full muscle meats during cooking and heat setting processes, shrinking hard.
Vector SKV™ Range - Smokeable and Permeable Casings
Vector SKV™ is a plastic casing which allows smoke through during production. It has a longer shelf life and better hygiene than traditional casings.
Vector Enhance™ Colour & Smoke-Coated Casings
The ready-to-fill casing liquid smoke or also only colouring-giving components are used. This technology allows the simple, reliable as well as uniform and cost-effective production of sausages, ham or cheese products without losses or smoking facilities.
Vector™ Shrink Bags
The Shrink Bags range are high-strength shrink bags with or without meat adhesion. They can be used as primary or secondary packaging of meat products, also at full cook temperatures or as post pasteurizing bags.
Vector™ PET Casing
PET with heat shrink in seamless tubular format for reduced breakage, Lightweight with high clarity and high temperature oven cook capability. Cook and strip applications needing shrink and physical hygiene.
Vector™ Cook and Chill
A non shrink range of steam/water cookable or reportable films tailored for use in cook and chill applications. Designed with hot fill and tumble chill capability for institutional liquid foods. Heat seal or clip closure.
