WTI International GmbH, with headquarters in Hofheim, is a subsidiary of US-based, owner-managed company WTI Inc. based near Atlanta / Georgia. Since September 2014 the WTI International GmbH is responsible for the worldwide distribution and its commercial management. With the help of our technologists, custom-tailored product testing, as well as customized product developments are quickly performed on site or in our own test facilities. Analyzes and shelf life extension tests of the final products are, both in Germany and in the US, a further service our customers like to take advantage of. Set in the surroundings of Frankfurt, stock sites allow a quick delivery within Germany and all over Europe. Customers in Central and South America will be supplied from the United States.
WTI has specialized in the development, manufacture and distribution of natural - non chemical - shelf life extenders for the food industry, especially the meat industry. On labeling with E-numbers can be dispensed with entirely. The basis for the WTI products are vinegar and lemon juice. Through a specially developed method the PH value of these products is held in neutral territory. This combines the preservative properties of vinegar and / or lemon juice with absolute neutral taste, without negatively affecting the water-binding effects.
Depending on the request, the application possibility and final product we offer our shelf life extenders in liquid or powder form.
Another core competency of WTI is the injection of fresh meat. This technology has been developed in the United States particularly for poultry about 20 years ago and has now become established in most parts of the world. Besides poultry one applies injection also to pork, beef and even seafood.WTI provides the ideal ingredients, entirely adapted on raw material, equipment and existing technologies of the customer.
Moreover, WTI is the world's only supplier of non-alcoholic, on purely natural, bio-based working, surface sterilizing sprays. These are used for effective and sustainable sterilization of all types of surfaces in the meat industry. From slicer (blades/knifes) via conveyor belts to work tables, product contact areas can be held largely sterile without intermediate purification for more than one work shift.
