Company 2G, spol. s r.o., Přikrývky a polštáře located in Lipov, Czech Republic is a family owned business founded in 1995 and fully owned by Mr. and Mrs. Ing. Glogar. Nowadays the company has about 150 employees busy in two production units.
First one produces beddings, above all quilts, pillows (classical ones, decorative and medical pillows as well), pads, overbeds and accessories for healthy sleeping. Also futons, traditional japanese mattresses are produced there.
The second unit is busy in production of upholstery cushions for upholstery furniture like sofa, armchairs, lounge etc. At present this company is probably the biggest quilts and pillow producer in the Czech Republic.
Since starting business inland market is the most important for us, nevertheless company is also well brought in on international commerce because of export and import as well . There are different kinds of our customers there as store chains, hotels, hospitals, retirement homes,specialized retail shops or individual customers.
Regarding beddings, the articles are largely filled with hollow polyester fibres or polyester balls. However company´s production range covers also natural fillings as wool, camel, cashmere, silk, cotton, bamboo, Lyocell and of course down. Our products are tested in Testing and Certification Institute in Zlin, Textile Testing Institute in Brno and in Dermatology department at the Skin Clinic in Brno.
Feathers, polyurethane foam and polyester fleece are used to fill the upholstery cushions. A high quality ticking (pure cotton) or economical mixture of cotton with polyester are used as a cover fabric. They are made either in the Czech Republic or imported from France and Germany.
Products with hollow fibre can be washed and tumble dried as indicated on the care labels attached on every product. We offer different kind of hollow fibre, especially treated again dust mite, antibacterial, antiallergic. For pillows so called "artificial feather" - polyester balls - so far the only alternative substitute for natural down and feathers are used.
Due to modern technologies and production organization we are very flexible and ready to produce any article up to 270 cm width. Additional services together with keeping high quality of the production allowing to satisfy almost every wish of the customers.
