A socket outlet case with integrated protective conductor monitoring now supplements ABL SURSUM'S product range of high-quality socket outlet combinations. In their "Technical Regulations for Safety in the Workplace" (TRBS 2131) and in the BGI 608 guideline, the mutual indemnity associations (Berufsgenossenschaften) banned the use of existing socket outlets without a protective device in the industrial sector.

ABL SURSUM's answer to this requirement is a newly developed socket outlet case with integrated protective conductor monitoring for the optimum operator protection in the low-voltage range. In addition to the protective conductor identification and monitoring, the residual current circuit breaker installed in the socket outlet case protects the user against potentially lethal fault currents that can be caused by faulty electrical equipment.

The PRCD-S (Portable Residual Current Device - Switched PE) additionally includes an integrated undervoltage release - which prevents an unexpected restart of a connected load after a power failure. In addition to the protective devices, the socket outlet case offered by ABL SURSUM features four completely installed and wired SCHUKO socket outlets.
