ACI Adam was founded 1988 by Ton Adam in Maastricht, The Netherlands and started with selling copier toners. Until today, ACI’s headquarter is based in Maastricht. Both its product range and the number of employees and sales offices have grown immensely.
With customers in more than 25 European countries ACI sells more than 15.000 products, i.e.Computer Supplies, Storage Media, Monitors, Printer, Scanner and traditional Office

Main customer segments buying from ACI are Mail Order Houses, Corporate Resellers, Buying Groups, Office Products resellers, computer shops and retailers all over Europe Today, ACI is one of the biggest partner of leading OEM’s with local and international distribution contracts, i.e. with Hewlett Packard as a Premier Business Partner, Canon, Epson, Sony, IMATION, Konica-Minolta, Kyocera, Lexmark, Oki, Samsung, Brother, 3M, Parker and much more.

Currently ACI employs more than 170 dedicated people throughout Europe.
The sales office in Maastricht deals with customers in Benelux, France, Scandinavia, Eastern and Western territories as well as Austria and Switzerland. ACI also has dedicated local sales offices in Germany, UK, Italy and Spain.
One big advantage for customers, dealing with ACI, is the diversity of languages which enables the dealer to talk to his contact person in his mother tongue.

Developing new strategies and gaining more market shares, ACI set up an office in Switzerland in July 2007 with an European Storage Media purchasing team, responsible for the total ACI group.
In addition a brand new catalogue for these products has been developed in three different languages, presenting the complete ACI Storage Media product range to support customers and their sales. This brochure is for free and can be ordered online.
The based sales team is in charge for French and Swiss resellers.

Turnover through the web shop has significantly increased during the past years, as more and more customers place their orders online.
Products and stock is displayed in life time and it is very easy to place an order.
30% of ACI’s business runs through its web shop, which is available in various languages.
Marketing activities and special offers become updated regularly.

ACI will greatly expand its Office products range in the first half of 2008. Aim it to offer the top 200 products for attractive prices, by closely cooperating with main suppliers in the channel.
First step to success will be Paperworld in January, where first conversations with manufacturers will take place.

Based in The Netherlands is the European warehouse with a surface of 20.000qm, whereas local warehouses deliver to local customers in Italy, the UK and Spain. Thus enabling efficient stock levels, a fast delivery of both bestseller and niche products is guaranteed.

Knowing that IT solutions are very important to customers, ACI’s latest project has been to start a partnership with PBSeasy.
This e-commerce platform has more than 100 manufacturers and 1500 dealers.
The partnership takes place during January and will be introduced on the stand of ACI at Paperworld
